The ECU Civil Engineering Society (ECES) is an inclusive, student-led platform exclusively serving enrolled ECU students in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, and related disciplines. Students from other academic backgrounds with an interest in engineering are also welcome.
ECES directly benefits enrolled students by creating opportunities beyond the classroom – including industry talks, site visits, workshops, competitions, and networking with engineers and professional bodies such as Engineers Australia. These activities build the technical knowledge, professional skills, leadership capabilities, and ethical awareness that enrolled students need to transition into engineering profession.
There are events open to all enrolled ECU students, as well some member-exclusive events. This creates an inclusive environment for all students, while also providing exclusive benefits to members of the club.
