ECU Film Club runs weekly screenings designed to complement the BA of Screen Production program. Each week, we curate three film options connected to the official course screening—whether through genre, style, themes, director, or era—and you get to vote online for what we watch.

Our club screenings take place on Thursday nights, following the Screen Production screening on Tuesday mornings, giving you the chance to dive deeper into the ideas, techniques, and storytelling approaches explored in class.

For Screen Production students, it’s a great way to expand your understanding of course content, discover new perspectives, and connect with others in your cohort and beyond.

Not studying film? No problem. Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a casual viewer or a full-on film buff, this is your chance to watch something new, share your thoughts, and meet people who love film just as much as you do.
