Women in Engineering at Edith Cowan University (WIE@ECU) is a student-run group for the support and development of female students in nontraditional fields of study in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
Our Purpose
To encourage and support all female students throughout their engineering studies, with the extension to all non-traditional fields, known as STEM, science, technology, engineering and math starting at pre-university levels. Our club provides a platform to develop and practice leadership skills while liaising with industry and institutes to build essential networks.
Our Values

- – Provide project management and leadership experience to female engineering students
- – Increase participation of female students in STEM degrees
- – Achieve awareness through WiE@ECU facilitated events and attendance to industry events as a WiE@ECU representative
